Fort Washington, PA -- Some 500 lots of OTC drugs made by McNeil Consumer Healthcare were recalled following an earlier recall of Tylenol Arthritis Pain Caplet 100-count bottles that started in November 2009, the FDA said. The latest recalls, also arising from consumer complaints of nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhea, include lots of various adult and children's Tylenol products, Motrin IB tablets and caplets, Benadryl Allergy tablets, Rolaids antacid tablets, Simply Sleep mini-caplets, and St. Joseph chewable and safety-coated aspirin. Not all lots have been linked to complaints of unusual odors, but they all have the potential to be affected, according to McNeil.
